Meter Configuration

This chapter covers configuring the SDM630MCT-RC meter via the front LCD panel.

Entering Setup Mode

1. Press and hold the E (Enter) button for 3 seconds
2. The display shows the password prompt: CodE 0000
3. Use the ↑/↓ buttons to enter password: 1000 (default)
4. Press E to confirm
5. The first setup menu item appears

System Type Selection

Setting	Options	Default

Navigate to Sys and select the wiring type matching your installation. Most 3-phase installations use 3P4W (3-phase 4-wire with neutral).

CT Ratio Configuration

Critical: The CT ratio MUST match the installed Rogowski coil rated current.

Setting CT Ratio via LCD

1. In setup mode, navigate to SEt → Ct1
2. Use ↑/↓ to set the rated current of your ESCT-RC coil
3. Press E to confirm
4. Repeat for Ct2 and Ct3

*Note: Maximum CT ratio setting is 2000. For coils rated above 2000A, set the ratio to the maximum and apply scaling in software/MQTT.

PT Ratio (Voltage Transformer)

Security recommendation: Change the default password (1000) to prevent unauthorized configuration changes.

Saving and Exiting

After all changes:

1. Press and hold E for 3 seconds, or navigate through all menu items
2. Changes are saved automatically
3. The meter restarts with new settings
