Safety Warnings¶

DANGER — Electric Shock Risk

This product operates at voltages that can be lethal. Installation and maintenance must be performed by qualified electricians only.

Category III (CAT III) measurement category applies — suitable for distribution-level installations.
Disconnect all power before opening the enclosure or making any wiring changes.
Lock out / tag out (LOTO) procedures must be followed during installation and maintenance.
Verify absence of voltage with a rated voltage detector before touching any terminals.
Never operate the equipment with the enclosure open or covers removed.

WARNING — Rogowski Coil Installation

Ensure Rogowski coils are correctly oriented (arrow pointing toward load) before energizing the circuit.
Do not exceed the rated current for the selected Rogowski coil model.
Secure all cable connections before powering on — loose connections can cause arcing.
Ensure the coil fully encircles the conductor without gaps in the closure.

WARNING — RS485 Communication

Use twisted-pair cable for RS485 connections.
Install a 120-ohm termination resistor at each end of the bus for runs exceeding 10 meters.
Maximum RS485 bus length: 1200 meters.
Maximum number of nodes on a single bus: 32 devices.
